In the past 3PD purchases and freeware never showed up in the Content Manager at all.   Which meant that there was a very real risk you might re-purchase on the marketplace an addon you already owned.

This is progress in a half baked not quite working yet fashion. The fact that it should say "Installed in Community Folder" is a minor issue really.  At least it now lists them, whereas they never showed up at all before this patch.

That's kinda how i read this issue as well. I think they want a harder delineation between third party stuff vs officially asobo installed stuff. And i have a further hunch that the limited xbox installation procedure requires it. So PC installation which can be a little more non structured in general terms can be accommodated but will not be "content manager" installed within the official core structure.

If im wrong and its a bug the addons "mostly" appear to work and probably will get fixed when Asobo feels like i guess.

You should know better than that Bert. I only post if it's relevant.

It's a total non-issue. You could not and cannot do anything with Community addons in the Content Manager, other than look at a list of them. You can still look at the list and the report that they are not installed is irrelevant. If they really are not installed, they do not appear in the list at all.
