Hi,

A few weeks ago I saw a copilot feature available in the options menu of the MCDU on Youtube. Is it available in the experimental build because I can't find it anywhere?

Thanks!

I think that may have been actually on the cockpit iPad, and it was removed for being too buggy?

and for those in need of more details how to print a METAR report in the neo:

--> select ATSU on MCDU (need to be on MCDU main menu, click on MCDU MENU to get there

--> Select AOC MENU

--> Select WX REQUEST

--> Unless already prefilled from your preloaded flightplan, enter required Airports using the top 4 right LSKs

--> Click SEND

--> Go back to AOC menu

--> Click RECEIVED MESSAGES

--> select received METAR, if you don't see your Metar then wait and click PAGE RIGHT on MCDU to update the screen

--> Click PRINT

--> Pick = click paper from the printer (or double click on PRINT to pick it automatically) --> will be nicely put next to the MCDU on the middle console

--> enter Arrival Data on MCDU

BY the way, great video, FBW!

Just accidently bumped into this, as well.....

They should have just renamed it to"a civilian in the copilot seat"!

Nope, it's not free, it's a modification of something which is included in the purchase price.

Yes and no. The FBW A320 is standalone now, I'm pretty sure you don't even need to have the base MSFS A320 installed to use it (at least for the experimental branch).

At the core is the modified MSFS A320, but it's no longer dependant on the one installed with the sim.

Though I guess by your logic it's still not 'free' because you need to own the original sim to use it. Not are any other free addons free.

It’s a strange discussion isn’t it? If a free add-on that uses a certain sim as a dependency.

It’s like saying: this application is not free because it’s only running on Windows or Linux…
