problem of communication STREAMDECK

Featured Replies

hi

I have the FS2020, I have a Streamdeck xxl and the payware version of Axis and Oh.

I ve installed the SD plugin.  Ran everything under admin.

Installed the profile of FBW, loaded the script but there is no communication between SD and FS2020.

Tried to find solution on youtube and google but cant and i am lost.

any hint on what to do?

thanks

Did you also set the program itself, after installation, to 'run as administrator'?

Did you install the correct AAO StreamDeck plugin? (version 2_3)

Has the WebAPI been activated in the "Tools" menu in AAO?

You may have to change the WebAPI port if there is already something on your computer that is blocking port 9080. The port must be changed in AAO (Tools-Menu) and in the StreamDeck plugin (in the file C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Elgato\StreamDeck\Plugins\com.lorbysi.aao.sdPlugin\settings.js)

Also, the Elgato software has a debug console that would list internal errors - check their SDK documentation online about how to activate and access that.

I had to open the firewall port 9080 on my system to get it to work.

I had to shut down Logitech G-Hub as it seemed to be using the same port.

I have followed all these steps but I still can't make my Streamdeck and AAO (purchased) to fully communicate. I have the CJ4 profile from Guenseli and it works great with MSFS, but I can't directly program a Streamdeck button through AAO. My port 9080 is open...Thanks for your help if you have anymore advice.

I'm not sure if I understand this, that kind of sounds like a contradiction - if the CJ4 profile works, then the communication between the StreamDeck plugin and AAO is obviously working too.

What does "I can't directly program a Streamdeck button through AAO" mean exactly? What are you trying to do?

Hi Oliver,

I am going to respond on your "FS Axis and Ohs:Help and questions" site, so I can add pictures easily.

Thank you,

Johan
