January 26, 200719 yr I have an 8800 card and I agree 18AA don't make no sense I have only ever seen AA increase by the power of 2 i.e. 2,4,8,16 but I would love to be corrected on this.My 16AA is set in the Nvidia control panel because the sim doesn't give any AA choices and I get no framerate reduction with 16AA but that setting does give the best visuals. Published advice given by Nvidia or other experts must be of a generalised nature. For tuning purposes each user should experiment to find the sweet spot for their own particular setup.
