well after a month of continuous testing without a pagefile, I have not run into any problems, and FSX runs smoother without it. don't see higher FPS though. thank you for the suggestions. Use MemStatus by Kevin Reems (google it) to check RAM usage during simulation. Never exceeds 1400 MB used, I find.
