I flew the captain sim 777 in MSFS from EPWA-KJFK, after flying for about 7 hours the engines just shut down, lost all controls, I had about 19.4 tons of fuel left, why did the engines shut down randomly?

Sorry I was meming.

I guess you could try their forum to see if anyone else has had that problem.

As it uses the B747 panel bits, it could be anything and since the update yesterday, it could be something to do with that.

And for some reason MSFS moved me to somewhere in the Gulf of guinea, maybe that's why?

 

So i read the captain sim forums and is supposedly an issue from the 747 but i have not experienced that one before

Presumably it was a fuel tank selection issue, although since it's a bit of a hack, I wouldn't mind betting it is using four engine's worth of fuel as it flies along or something daft like that.

I found the problem and fixed it but i still don’t know why i got moved to the gulf of guinea, i’ve had this issue before when i wanted to spawn in frankfurt on the runaway msfs places me in the gulf of guinea, restarting msfs helped though

How did you fix it because i am Having the same issues

This is what happens when you fly unacceptable/frankenstein aircraft.

You always fill up tank 1,2,3,4 not the stabiliser or reserve tanks, also always add 9 tons of fuel

this plane is horrible...

There will be another one (777) on the market in a few months to a year with quality and not shameful garbage and scam like this but it will be more expensive just like other things in life.
