July 12, 20214 yr One question guys, I have a new Samsung 970 Pro 512GB NVMe and an old Samsung 960 Pro 512GB NVMe where P3D is installed since end of 2017. Should I use the new one (supposedly better) to the P3D or to the Win10? (and then the old one will get the Win or stay with P3D) What will benefit the most? Thanks. July 12, 20214 yr I'd probably put Win 10 on the new one. You won't really notice any difference when it comes to games and those two drives.
July 13, 20214 yr Fastest drive for the OS is always ideal. In this case, I think the difference is marginal and it won't make any difference that you would notice. Even P3d on an NVMe drive will load slightly faster than on a good Sata SSD, but thats really about it. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
