July 30, 20214 yr Hi everyone, After a long absence I've returned to flight sim I'm reading amazing things about XBOX series X performance and optimisation and even the cheaper S model also does a great job Turtle Beach has a yoke quadrant coming out soon. Which makes the package look appealing Who here would buy into this combo. Would you choose the X or S model and why? Thanks Edited July 30, 20214 yr by zmak ZORAN
July 30, 20214 yr Commercial Member The Turtle beach combo looks very nice but in my case, I'll wait for the promised USB Hub from Honeycomb, which will allow my Alpha+Bravo ( and Charlie rudders, when they'll came out in 2032 ) to be used with the Xbox. I strongly recommend the Series X, especially with MSFS. Yes, the it's 200$ more but, it's almost double the power, and also double SSD space ( 1TB vs 512GB ), if you consider a full install of MSFS including all the World Updates is about 180 GB and you don't even have the full space available, it's likely you might only be able to install other 3-4 games before you'll run out of space on the S. The dedicated external 1TB upgrade which runs at the same speed as the internal one is...guess what, about 200$. And, the difference in graphic quality in MSFS is quite significant between the X and the S. Edited July 30, 20214 yr by virtuali Umberto Colapicchioni http://www.fsdreamteam.com FSDT on Facebook

Yes absolutely considering what you have said about GB and the cost the X is a standout. I will go with it ZORAN
July 30, 20214 yr Can't answer for Turtle Beach but I have recently picked up a Series S and am absolutely thrilled with it. I would probably have got the X if it was available anywhere but honestly for the price of it the S is an incredible machine and is so tiny, it looks a lot nicer than the X in my opinion (but I appreciate that's not so important to a lot of folk). The graphic quality of MSFS running on it on a 46" 1080p TV is absolutely amazing. It looks nicer and runs smoother than it does on my PC in all honesty (specs below) with graphics settings at High. July 30, 20214 yr I wasn't aware of the Turtle Beach yoke and quadrant (Velocity One); it's exciting to have more choice of peripherals since MFS came out with Honeycomb and Brunner, especially in the entry level pricing arena. I hope my CH USB Yoke and pedals will continue to serve for a while yet though!
