No license key at that moment. On opening the plugin in x-plane, I had to enter my email and order number in order to ask for a key. But after entering the correct items, the plugin stated that my order number wasn't valid. However, there was an mail address for support. So I explained my problem. I got an automated answer that told me that if my problem wasn't listed in their answer and if I needed an answer from a human being, I had to answer once again, including my x-plane log. That's enough fiddling for me. 35$ down the drain. This company is hiding behind an automated wall. Just so you know. To be clear, while I greatly appreciate that I convinced you to buy this addon, I do have no affiliation nor do I have anything to do with their registration processes and such. I am sorry you are having issues. Many developers are "hiding" behind elaborate activation walls these day of course due to pirating of their products. X-Aviation licensing can be a huge pain for instance. I owned Ultra Weather from early in because is was a "cheaper" alternative to Skymaxx, X-Vision and XEnviro. When they changed to their new purchase outside of the Org store I had absolutely no issue, with my "free" upgrade from their new store front. So unfortunately I can't help you here. Not that you may have already done this but may I suggest: 1. Email again!, With Clear Request. 2. Go to their FB page and raise the issue there was well. 3. Post a Licensing/Activation Complaint as well on the Org Forum support page AND check to see if anyone else is having an issue. - This appears to me to be a "family" affair software. Not a wide ranging commercial developer. Last we heard they were working on a V.3.0 with volumetric clouds. Perhaps something has happened? Life takes some bad turns once in a while. I don't see any recent activity in any of their media. cheers Bryan Bryan Wallis aka "fltsimguy" Maple Bay, British Columbia Near CAM3

What are these guys of ultimate weather think? That they are sitting on liquid gold? I'll contact the org store and ask for a valid order number or a refund. But I don't have high hopes. Cheers, Jos.

Another good idea. I'm getting the feeling that there is something going on here, that is not good. Why would they be still selling software without getting a license key. One should get a license key activation whatever as soon as you buy it. I got mine from the Org store which is where it was originally sold. I have found that the Org store are very good with regards to any issues you may have. I expect you will be refunded immediately.

August 14, 20214 yr Back to OP's issue of not enough haze. Just skimmed responses so maybe I'm behind the curve here, but the majority of what I fly in Canada and Alaska at moderate atitudes (<8K) is haze = low visibility or storms = murk and skud running. Clear days are a rarity and welcome! All flights are done with XP and real time weather.
August 15, 20214 yr Agree to stay on topic. Sorry to divert. Justt to be fair, I can confirm that both the developer of Ultraweather and the X-plane Org Store have replied and that now, my Order number is valid. So I can finally enjoy the product. Now back to Haze. Jos
