August 7, 20214 yr Tried to login and logout of the store. Restarts. Get Updates. Other apps in the store update, not MSFS. Did a total reset of the store via powershell. Any smart help would be appreciated! Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.
August 7, 20214 yr Someone mentioned the Xbox app. I'm not using it so I don't know how it works. But apparently opening that helps? August 7, 20214 yr Yeah on the last hotfix, I had to uninstall xbox apps in windows. Then reinstall and login. Then after that I launched MSFS and it worked 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
August 7, 20214 yr I went into the store and selected updates. As was stated by the OP, MSFS was not under the updates list. I ignored this and went down the list of apps and selected MSFS., Even when highlighted, there was no indication there was an update, but I left it there anyway. About 10 seconds later it suddenly began downloading the update. After completion, I started MSFS and the update was verified. Randall Rocke
