August 7, 20214 yr Author That article didnt answer my question.- I want to know is if there is a config file or something where control settings are store, so I can save it before uninstalling and reinstalling so keeping my settings which took me a lot of work

Reliance on the Cloud storage is the only viable avenue. Those are tied to your login. August 7, 20214 yr When I re-installed, all my setting were the same, no adjustments needed. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's
