UnModded TBM 930 Post HF 2 BUG?

Featured Replies

All, now with or without the TBM 930 mod, when I go to the main menu (esc) no matter why (change graphics for example) when I resume flight the aircraft engine continues for about two seconds then shuts down. An immediate restart (Ctrl-E) gets it going again but any time  go to the menu with this bird it happens.

Anyone else?
TIA

maybe you have a mixture control mapped on your configuration?  This is then in the cut off location and out of the menu it checks and fires this off again?

Yes the mappings changed with SU5.

Les is correct. It's always been this way. Even though you can't control the mixture in the TBM it'll read the setting from your mapped controls. It doesn't read it when you load up first but when you go to a menu or something like that it checks your control setting and if you've the mixture in cutoff then your engine will switch off. It's a bit annoying but not much of an issue once you remember to not leave it in idle cutoff.

Les, Tek and everyone else who replied. That was it. My mixture (and prop) had the reverse tick box checked. Not by me may I add! 😉

Unticked the box and all is as it always was before.
Thanks,
