August 12, 20214 yr Hello. I am trying to use spadnext to control a touch panel. I also have a logitech autopilot panel which I enabled with the logitech msfs2020 device plugin. Spadnext says I need to unload the plugin so there isn't a conflict. How do I do that? With p3d there was a menu item to deal with plugins but I can't find anything like that with MSFS. I tried rerunning the plugin installer thinking there might be a uninstall option but no luck. Is there some deeper hidden menu for fs2020 that allows disabling plugins? Thanks, Jeff
August 12, 20214 yr Go to windows settings»Apps and there uninstall "Microsoft Flight Simulator plugin" with logitech thumbnail.
August 13, 20214 yr Also make sure you disable power management for the devices and USB Controllers.... Windows likes to put them to sleep when you are on a flight and have not touched/updated the device in a while.. Les O'Reilly
August 14, 20214 yr I bid high for an app that forbids Windows to ever shut down a USB port or hub for any reason whatsoever forever! Anyone who thinks changing a power management setting will uncheck every box in device manager HID and USB power management tabs is dreaming. You have to manually uncheck every box and to it again after every windows update. I do not have MSFS on a laptop, I have no battery nor any good reason to save power. I live below a very large dam across a very large river that supplies electricity at under 5 cents a kilowatt hour. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. I was blindly looking for an app with logitech in the name. Had forgotten that the name was what you mentioned. Appreciate it! Jeff
