  1. Hi moderators. Is it possible to change topic tittle to "Denarq Twin Beech. New ipdate 1.3"? Thanks.
  2. Update v1.3 is out. Log V1.3 -New external sounds. -Improved interior sounds with phasing and loop problem solved or at least mitigated. -New custom sounds for rough running engine. -Detonation ignition modeled.(Due to the effect complexity, it requires reading the manual to be fully understood). -Rough running engine modeled. -Persistent fuel quantity. Electrical system improvements: -New batteries: persistent voltages, voltage decay with low temperature, longer time to recharger under low temperatures, faster time de deplete its levels with low temperature. -Almost all systems amperage changed to match real counterparts. -Some electric circuits that didn’t have any system associated were removed. -Now Nav2 radio, transponder, DME and NDB radios have their own electric circuit with correct electric load that is tied with their state. P.S: electric system overhaul is still WIP. -Improved flight model much noticed during take-offs and landings. -Improved ground handling when free-castering wheel is in use. (Still far from ideal due to MSFS SDK limitations). -Engine performance adjusted. A little more speed and less fuel consumption. Less intrusive stall warning horn during landing and takeoff. -Many small tweaks and fine tunings like EGT, engine wear, oil system, anti-ice system, etc. Updated manual with index, information on detonation, electric system and detailed checklists for all phases of flight.
  3. Hi guys! I've just released a new version of my mod for Beech 18. It has many new features. Hope you enjoy it. Log V1.2NEW:-New Oil system (custom code) with:Oil quantity (Persistent between flights).Oil comsumption.Oil leaks.Oil temperatures and pressure that not only derive from engine calculation but also influence engine operation.Oil tanks placed on their real location that influence flight model according to their load.-New oil shutter levers operation, separated by engine. (custom code).-New oil bypass code with increased functionalities.-New oil cutoff buttons.-New modern propeller version replacing old legacy with new behaviour.-New advanced [FUEL SYSTEM] replacing old [FUEL]:New tanks usage logicMinimum fuel pressure logic (see guide).New booster pumps logic (see guide).Fuel system pipes modeled with residual fuel quantity.New Cross-feed modeled.Fuel consumption adjusted to more correct numbers.-New startup logic. (see guide).-Improved flight model and engine perfornance.-Very small improved free castering wheel behaviour.-Cockpit "Free air" gauge with new freezing temperature marking-Generators switchs replaced by Fuel booster pumps (see guide).-Improved guide-Small adjustments in electric load on several systems.FIXES:-Mouse can now be used to operate throttle levers.-Fuel tanks quantity indicators now show tenths of fuel instead of gallons (maching real planes).-Internal sound now reacts to all 3 windows instead of just 2.-Turn coordinator marks adjusted to match standard rate coordinated turn.-Carb mixt. temp. gauge now dependent of "avionics master" switch https://flightsim.to/file/51532/denarq-twin-beech
  4. New quick fix .v1.1.1Changelog:Fix: Missing starter sound.
  5. New version 1.1 is out. Denarq enhancement Beech D18S Log V1.1 New features: -New engine, landing gear and flap sounds. For now, only inside cockpit sounds are finished. Outside sounds are very raw and will be developed in the next update. Original sound files are from two freeware sounds packs (see credits at the end). -Weight and balance redone. -Add compass light and assign to correct knob. (see credits at the end). -When starting a flight with the engine running (airborne or in runway) oil temperature is 50ºC and CHT is 110ºC. -Adjusted flight model: Aileron sensitivity increased. Elevator sensitivity decreased Changes in rudder behaviour. Now, when tail wheel lifts, there is much less tail snap. P-Factor adjusted. Trim limits adjusted to cope new weight balance. Now, trim will allow finer adjustments. -Elevator tab gauge (Elev. Trim) now has a takeoff zone bar. -New true free castering wheel (as an option). See guide. -New mod guide. Fixes: -Feather propeller won't stop the engine on the ground. -Corrected manifold overboost damage. Credits: -Mod creator: Alexandre Baptista -Original sound packs: "Single Engine Pratt & Whitney R-985 Wasp Junior Radial Engine " by Skyhigh Audio Simulations. "FSX Pratt & Whitney Wasp Junior R-985 Radial dual engine sound set" created by ElmoSlack (According to these sound packs creators, these sounds are freeware and must remain so.) -Help on compass light: katIX3647 from https://forums.flightsimulator.com -Beta testing and feedback: Isidro Magalhães Pedro Costa Pedro Trindade Donovan, aka donovankoch from Flightsim.to Alexandre Baptista https://flightsim.to/file/51532/denarq-twin-beech
  6. In my mod there are two types of counters that relates to engine wealth. Engine damage counters and engine wear. There are many engine damage counters and each one is linked to an individual system and per engine. You have oil temps damage counters, CHT, overboost (manifold pressure), etc. This means that if you go above a certain value on these systems counters, some type of damage to the engine may occur. For exemple if you run your engine with CHT above green bar for a certain amount of time you could provoque some damage to your engine and if you let your engine go above yellow you could even kill it. This kind of behaviour happens to all counters. Of course each one with its kind of consequences. These counters couldn't be seen by operator and can't be reseted. But they are reseted once the flight is over or restarted. So everytime you start a flight, your plane doesn't have any damage and all counters are zero. Engine wear is persistent from a flight to another, even if you close msfs. All systems are related to this wear, meaning that everytime your doing something wrong you are also wearing your engine. For now there isn't any damage linked to this wear but I have intention to change this. What this wear does is to reduce engine power proportional to its level. This decrease in performance only starts bellow 95% of engine wear. You can see this engine wear usinf FF gauge and its knob in “Gal.Reserve” and “Gal.toDestination” positions. Left and right engine Wear. There is a small thing I'd like to add. Even if you do everything right and notice some small wear increase, its normal. There is always some residual wear like normal engines going on. This value was calculated in my mod to add 10% wear for every 100 hours combustion time. So during one hour flight, you'll see 0.1% increase at minimum. To reset it put starter selector on left position and pul left cabin heat lever. To reset right engine wear put starter selector it right position but use left cabin heat lever. To reset wear just use left cabin heat lever. Right cabin heat lever is used to add cabin heat and deice windshield. Eventually, I intend to use one of unsued switches but for now I don't now how to do it.🤔 One last important thingthat I'm not sure I said in my mod description: To save engine wear for your next flight you have to turn off your batteries.
  7. I guys, I am the creator of this mod, so I can answer your questions. I'm not sure if I can say how I did it but I can say that it was released with the knowledge and permission of the MSFS team. Making some kind of manual if of course in my future plans but for now I'll try to help you guys over here. To startup engines remember that with this mod priming is required. What I do is: -Proppeler and mixture levers full foward -Throttle lever one inch foward -Tank selector left front and right front -Batterys on -Magnetos on -Starter selector and prime knod towards the engine you want to start. -clic booster -clic starter -2 or 3 pulls on prime knob (on very cold weather 3 or 4 pulls) - This must be perfoed while the engine is trying to start. And thats it. VERY IMPORTANT: -Keep your engine RPM bellow 1000/1100 RPMs until your oil temps is above 40º. If you rise it to soon your cylinders temps will rise very fast due to low lubrication and CHT above certain levels could kill your engine. And even if you don't kill it it, you are increasing its wear. This fluctuation is duo to low oil temps and low lubrication. It has nothing to do with incompatible mod. Just wait to oil temp. If you want to speedup oil temps increase us oil shutter or oil bypass. But remembre that oil bypass is for ground use only and be very careful. As soon as oil is above 40º turn off oilbypass otherwise oilt temps keep climbind and you'll for certain kill the engine.
  8. Go to windows settings»Apps and there uninstall "Microsoft Flight Simulator plugin" with logitech thumbnail.
  9. www.meteoblue.com They are the company that provide weather to MSFS. their site has an amazing interactive map with everything you can imagine about word weather.
  10. You don't have to. Just run GFDevFSX.exe once on cockpit and you are ready to go. I don't have any sim other than MSFS and it works.
  11. To me and a to alot of people that don't have FSX, the GpFflight software doesn't install GFDevFSX.exe and it took a long time for me to find a download link. For those who have GFDevFSX.exe, you obviously don't need my link.
  12. I have GF-166 radio module and is finally working in MSFS without any external software. Not only buttons but displays aswell. I don't have any other flight simulator installed. Just MSFS. Instructions: -Install Goflight software and put GFDevFSX.exe (*1) in main goflight software folder. -Start MSFS and enter flight. -When on cockpit, just manually start GFDevFSX.exe and thats it. Displays lights up with in game freqs and everything is working. I supose it should work with other modules. (*1) I uploaded GFDevFSX.exe to mediafire. It should work because I had to external downloaded myself. http://www.mediafire.com/file/swthkkaux30f8wu/GFDevFSX.exe/file
  13. [SOLVED] Thanks Novation, uninstalling nvidia drivers and a clean install from that site, solves my problem. I still have a couple of FPS less than previous patch, but the diference now is accectable and Rdrthread values are back to previous patch numbers, around 10 to 15ms. The image quality, clouds mainly, is worst than before but I guess thats another problem.
  14. HighTowers, I don't know if you've read my post but what you are talking about has nothing to do with this problem. I had 35 FPS and now I have 20/ 25 and even if I put all settings no minimum, AA included. Problem remains. The second thread, the "Rdrthread", is out of charts on my system as it is with some other people systems, but not on all people. Normal value on this thread is is way lower than main thread but in my system is sometimes three times, main thread value. And this is not normal. It was not as it use to be and still isn't to alot of people. I understand that with increase quality comes less FPS. And I suspect that majority of people here understands that, so please, unless you have some to contribute the this problem, stop make excuses with some basic clichés. Guys, we aren't talking about some small decrese of FPS due to better visuals. We are talking about a real problem that doesn't happen with everybody. And as I said, I've done a clean install so mods or skins aren't the problem.
  15. I post this on official MSFS forum. "I'm having a huge FPS drop with this patch. Same GPU drivers and same settings. With ingame FPS counter, I've notice an huge ms increase in "Rdrthread". Was consistent less than 15ms and now is almost 40ms and sometimes go to 60ms. And GPU ms also increase. Was under 30ms and now is always above 35ms and some times near 40ms. (I know that these screenshots aren't exactly the same but results are consistent all over the board.) screenshots before patch: Today, after patch: Clouds quality alse decrease by alot. Outside cockpit seems like an ultra strong fake sharpen effect. Two crops from my real resolution (3440x3440) showing clouds. Click on pictures to see full size. old cloud. new cloud. I really hope this gets fixed soon." I tried with all antialiasing options and same result. I also set all graphic options to minimum or disable on those with that option and same problem. It doesn't seems to be a graphic option trigering this. Rolling cache deleted and disable aswell. And this was on a clean install of the game. Yes, I even reinstalled from zero and problem persists. I have a GTX1060 and same problem with old and new drivers that were released yesterday. On Nvidia control panel I have antialiasing controlled by application and FXAA disabled.
  16. CTD here. Comunity folder is and was empty before install. Nvidia 1060 and windows store. I tried to remove logitech plugin, just in case. But I only removed this plugin after install. Game crash after menu apear. Hope they fix this soon.
  17. I've made mine using Leobodnar USB interface board and an heavy duty, dust proof potentiometer also from Leobodnar shop. Used some old toys gears and some scrap wood and everything under 40 euros. I have a 12 bit trim wheel that is better than almost every trim wheel I could buy and much cheaper. And if you want, you could do it much better looking than mine. And I still have 7 axis and 12 buttons input in my USB interface to use.
  18. This is a MSFS bug already confirmed on TrackIR official forum by their staff. Asobo is already aware of this and it seems a fix is on the way. The question is when. This has nothing to do with bad design or limitation of MSFS2020 designers' understanding of the modern view systems.
  19. Hi all! Is it possible to setup an online session on v4, where clients can start their flight on diferent airports from the one I choose as an host? If I remember correctly, on P3D v3 there was an option to allow this but on v4 I can't find nothing. I tried with a friend and his plane is allways on same airport as mine, no mater the location he chooses. Thanks.
  20. Hi Filippo, Did you ever manage to find a solution for this? I have a similar problem with Wilco Airbus and FSUIPC aso. My throttle works fine with every aircraft but Wilcos. Thanks Alexandre
