Clouds - pink tint

Recommended Posts

I have noticed that after SU5 + HF1 + HF2 some clouds have a  very slight  pink tint around the edges. Especially high level clouds.

Anyone else see this too ?.

Greetings

Yes, pink and greenish in places.  It was really bad right after SU5, HF2 helped it a lot but it's still there.

Thanks. Confirmed then. I thought I had a local issue.

Will check over at Official MSFS Forum to see if reported.

Affirm!

I still see a lot of color banding in the sky and in clouds as well as purple and sometimes greenish fringes. Definitely wasn't present pre-SU5! I also notice some pink tint at the horizon nearly all the time - all in all the sky has become less natural (for me, that is!).5mDryB3.jpg

Exactly what I see too. I just wish they do something to the "overdone sunset colors - orange" too.

Just the other day I was watching the sunset here at home - came inside - fired up the sim , and what I saw in the sim is just too dramatic and overdone and not near to what I saw IRL.

It looked like a HUGE FIRE in the sim .. LOL

Great ! Thanks .. voted. Don't feel like trawling through the Official Forum.

There is purported to be a major update to the weather system coming FWIW.

If you set ' ColorGrading 0' in the user.cfg the cloud tints disappear. Of course this is just a temp solution....

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

Yes. I only noticed it after SU5.  It doesn't bother me too much but I hope they fix it.

I will vote on it as I just found out I have 9000 votes left lol!

For now, I just tell myself it is fine water or ice droplets reflecting in the sun at the edge of the clouds, as I have seen that effect in real life anyway.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I will try that. Trouble is it can affect other things as well.
