I’m looking at adding a track IR system but would need a headset for the tracker, Any recommendations for something basic that won’t break the bank, but at the same time works with the track ir clip that you may be using?

 Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.

I got these easy to find.  Red, Gun Metal or Black. Wireless or wired are all available. Works with the clip but I found the Track Hat one to be better and more durable as the Track IR one breaks easily.  You can also go wireless with the Track Hat.

If you wear headphones to fly, or a headset with a mike boom, then the tracking clip which attaches to those is the least obtrusive choice, since there isn't anything else you need to wear other than what you already are using. If wearing a baseball cap doesn't bother you, the hat clip works well though and just clips onto the peak of the cap, so that's fairly easy as well.

If you want to use headphones for that clip and don't have a pair, I recommend Sony's MDR-V150 monitoring headphones; these are inexpensive music monitoring headphones designed for mixing tracks, so they have a flat response which doesn't colour the sounds artificially, so you hear the sim sounds as they were intended with the correct balance. You can find them for about 20 quid or so if you look about. Great for music too of course if you make it, or listen to it a lot on your PC. They are very lightweight as well, but still feature proper ear cups, so they are not cumbersome.
