Liam Sterling, you made me choke laughing, thank you!

I may have had a slosh of sherry before making the above comment, and fully retract my statements. We may be pilots, but we're not perfect - I'm sure other commercial pilots will be able to corroborate how easy it is to turn up at what you believe to be your assigned gate and aircraft, only to be halfway to Malaga before realising you are not actually on duty today, you don't fly for Lufthansa, and you're not type-rated on the CRJ. It happens to the best of us. - Liam Sterling, MD-11 Training Captain

Would love to have a beer with Liam.

Certainly seems like Fenix is likely to shift the bar even higher than it is currently set for the A320 (FS Labs A320 in my view).

If they can keep that level of detail up and have it released within a reasonable time frame then it should be truely fantastic, especially with all the failure options that they’ve mentioned so far. That would be a highlight for me.

The two feature reviews I'm really excited for are:

1. Sound Feature Review (said to be coming shortly before release)

2. FBW Feature Review (no word on when / if it will be a thing)

I'm also really hoping the team can fit service based failures and aircraft persistence into the product before v1 release; Mean time before failure for all the components exist in written format and I hope, since they have access to 5 planes, they also have access to maintenance logs and can get the passive failure system in like FlyTheMaddog, PMDG, FSLabs, etc have done. Nothing makes you do your checklists more than knowing something could be broken.

Also, if FS2crew Devs read these forums... ya'll know what to do!

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
