Hi, this issue for me goes on and on, I've tried at the parent forums with no luck so here it is, the path to my ASCA folder in EnvDir I believe is correct, C:\Program Files(x86)\HiFi\ASCA, sky textures are ticked only in ASCA, Use Envtex Sky colours only is selected in EnvDir, all the Envtex sky colours are in the ASCA Wx screen but none of them have any box's ticked on the Wx screen and will never choose an Envtex sky colour only the default ASCA colours, everything is updated and correct as far as I can see, I did see a post a while back with this problem and followed it and did get it to work but not now, I'm pretty sure it was a reinstall of ASCA which I did but some thing is wrong, can anyone shed any light on a permanent fix.

Where the ASCA folder is selected is the "ASCA Integration" green button in the ENVTEX ui turned on?  In ASCA settings are the ENVTEX entries listed in "Wx Configuration"?

This YouTube vid by Capt. Vince is a little dated but may help. He has more up to date vids in his "Video" page related to ENVTEX and ASCA.

Yeh the green button is activated and all Envtex entries are there, but none of the Envtex check boxes are checked, I can make it work by manually adding ticks to each Envtex Wx check box 1 - 64 of them and un-checking the default ASCA ones,  getting ones that would be checked from the Wx cfg if the program did so, I just a0re unable to ASCA to talk to Envtex, not sure if that makes sense.

Hmm, not sure what's going on. When I can't remember how to set the programs up I watch the vid. Are there checks in ASCA Settings "Enabled content"? Have you been in touch with the folks at TOGA?

You have your AS AND ASCA IN PROGRAM FILES. I suggest you uninstall both programs and then create separate directories for each. Then reinstall to the designated directories. I do not know whether this is the case with the AS and ASCA programs, but programs stored in Program Files sometimes have restricted operations. BTW, I presume you are also installing with ADMINISTRATOR ticked in properties.

Have you actually clicked on the green "Install to Sim" button in Envdir?  After you turn on ASCA integration and select to install ASCA sky textures only, you need to click on "Install to Sim", so that Envdir installes these textures in your ASCA folder.
