September 8, 20214 yr In the mess of an upgrade process, I had to uninstall MSFS and then reinstall to get the update. I had previously installed to an SSD folder, E:\MyMSFS\, since it's the same SSD that I have P3D installed on. But now trying to install either from the XBOX APP or the Store the only options to install are to pick a drive, no way to specify a folder. Is there some way to do that? Otherwise, I must uninstall pretty much everything and figure out a way to keep folders separate for my benefit. This process is a horrendous MESS! Please tell me there is a way! September 9, 20214 yr Are you confusing the initial install with the data install that comes later? The data install is the first screen that comes up (called "Installation Manager") after starting MSFS for the first time after installing it from the store (or XBox app). That is where you should be able to set the full path you wish to use. ...jim ASUS Prime Z790-E, Intel i9 13900K, 32Gb DDR5 Ram, Nvidia 3090 24Gb, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500 GB and 1 TB, Samsung Odyssey G9 Ultrawide 49" G-SYNC Monitor.

September 9, 20214 yr Author That was my problem, thanks! I did read the release notes, but it wasn't very clear, and I didn't remember having that initial install the first time I installed. Anyway, all good now thanks for the help!
