September 17, 20214 yr Don’t see that listed in the release notes but i can see them now. They were missing before this update. Also, panning around now i see no tree or scenery popping in. This is a change. The clouds look better too. So this update appears to have fixed a few things not on the list. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro
September 17, 20214 yr Well I have to admit that I kind of like the side effect of the bug. Seeing the nav lights and the beacon at insane distances even during daytime was one of my main gripes with the depiction of AI planes. Now that the lights are completely missing at least it looks realistic from a distance in daytime. 😉

So when ATC asks you to confirm the sighting of another plane and that plane is invisible, that is also a problem. I also saw the lights today through thick clouds. But when i did spot a plane, it did look realistic. Edited September 17, 20214 yr by RobJC 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro

September 17, 20214 yr I actually thought this was a stealth fix, as I began seeing navigation lights on AI planes a few days ago. I didn't ask about it cuz I didn't want to jinx it.
