LatinVFR Fort Lauderdale question

Featured Replies

I fly a lot in North America (and Europe) so I like to buy add-on scenery for that part of the world. One scenery I don't have is LatinVFR's Fort Lauderdale and I would like to know how the scenery is performance wise. I have LatinVFR's Miami scenery and the performance of that scenery basically sucks! If Fort Lauderdale is a bad performer too I will not buy it and hope someone else makes it.

I am using the Latin VFR KFLL and KMIA in the NON Pbr version. The performance for both is much better than the PBR versions. You might want to try the the KMIA NON PBGR version on your system and see how it performs. You should be able to get the NON PBR version from where you originally purchased it. If not contact Latin VFR.

I use the non PBR version of Miami, but even with that the VRAM is very close to the limit (and I have to turn down my AI to almost zero). Most of my other sceneries I have don't really have VRAM a problem except newer LatinVFR releases.

I reduce textures from 2048 to 1024 to cope with this problem

Both work just fine in v4.5.
