How do I load a saved flight plan in MSFS

Featured Replies

Seems like a silly question that I'm going to ask. I can make and save flight plans in MSFS but where do I go to load one of the saved Flight plans back into MSFS and make it the current plan? Sorry for asking such a basic question but I have tried poking around in MSFS but haven't yet found the secret of loading a previously saved flight plan.

There is a button "more" (or similar) at the bottom of the world map which leads you to the save/load button. You should have seen it when saving already.

Kind regards,. Michael

Thank you for your prompt response. I have saved several flight plans I guess I missed the LOAD option. In the early days of MSFS I had it tabbed then MS/Asobo changed the user interface. I was off line for a while due to some weird error. I got out of it by buying the Steam version and when I got back to MSFS the user interface had changed a bit.

Yes, that changed in SU5.. you now have to hit the space bar twice... Not too elegant..

Indeed. Not only that I need one more keypress. In the previous version I saw the ICAOs and names at the top of the world map (greyed in the background but still visible) which I used in naming the plan. Now I see just a grey pane in the background and need a sheet of paper to write down ICAOs which I'm not familiar with.

But I'm sure it's gone now.

Kind regards, Michael
