It looks like a nifty piece of equipment.

All the buttons on the NXi can be programmed. The xtouch knobs can be pressed in and that registers as a button press. For inner and outer knobs I have them programmed on separate knobs including the range and com knobs.

Thanks for the reply. After my post I did look at  some Xtouch reviews and found out each knob has a button press. Good news that it is possible to combine 2 knobs into one. Maybe I must forget about the knobster idea and search for a xtouch mini in my part of the world.

PS: I have SPAD.neXt , so it would be not so difficult to configure ?.

No its not difficult at all. I just programmed the fbw a320 ap and lights including potentiometer on the xtouch. It's perfect in conjunction with my alpha and bravo yoke and throttle. I have everything I need 

I'm not 100% sure, but I think custom camera views doesn't move in turbulence, so if you make one for NXi it can help a bit.

Hitting the same button a second time will get you back to the previous view.
