Not just a paint livery in itself.  Something as simple as a missing bracket in a manifest.json file can flip the sim out as well.  Someone had this on a Ju-52 repaint recently.

Thanks so much for sharing this, and to the OP for starting this thread. I created a livery for my flying group (not publicly shared) that had exactly this issue. I would never have guessed that it was the livery that created the problem.

This is one of the benefits of addon linker.  If you have an issue you can save your current addon profile then disable the lot and start looking for the bad-uns .
