Weird Thing With Track IR

Featured Replies

All,

For the last few sessions I have been trying to get rid of screen tearing with Track IR, It is most difficult to get rid of screen tearing  on the Vertical windshield framing on the FBW A320 I generally fly when turning your head laterally,

Why is it if I use the sim on windowed mode with task bar showing, or have another window open overlying part of the screen it is fine no jaggies. However if I revert to full screen my (my preferred playing option) they come back? I have tried using V-sync in NVidia settings panel and in game but cannot eliminate the tearing. I am running a RTX2060 card with a I7-8700, 32 GB RAM. FPS at present locked at 30 within game. On a Dell 27" running at 1080x1920 refresh 120mhz

I had this problem with the screen tearing near the top of the screen.  The solution for me was to turn "render scaling" down to one hundred or less. You will find it in general options - graphics.

Intel Core Ultra 9 285K | GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS Elite X ICE | RTX 5080 | 32GB DDR5 | Win 11 Pro | Acer Predator UltraWide 3440x1440 (G-Sync)

I had that issue after I updated my Nvidia drivers about six weeks ago. I just updated again to the most recent driver and the issue is gone and I can again use render scale above 100.

This sounds like the same problem, and solutions, discussed here:

Well guys went into Render scale as suggested by Remilton and turned it down from 135 to 100 and they were gone. Tested in game with increases got back up to 135 and they were still gone. Fired it up tonight and they are still gone.

So in essence back where I started but without the Jagged edges.

Thanks once again for all your help and suggestions I don't know what witchcraft is going on but I'm happy!!!

Regards

Nic
