I did use one of the earier versions (the free one) with P3D but it was a bit of a pain to manage.

No probs since I purchased a license and use the most current.

If you have version 5.0.69 or higher also no prob it seems.

The freeware version will also work, you'll just need to manually point it to the voicepack file (the program won't read the P3D registry entries).

In fact, all versions of P3D reuse the FSX voicepack without any changes.

Thanks Rogen,,,  So you say manually point , you mean when im saving an FSX voice file  to my documents and then copy it to where in P3D ?

No, never copy the voice files into the sim. Editvoicepack loads them and then compiles the voicefile which is in the sim. Maybe with the free version this has to be pointed. The voice files can by in any storage directory, where you point Editvoicepack to load them.

Thats where im confused , after i make the new call signs i hit update , but it doesnt seem to give an option to browse to anywhere

I don't remember the exact process (but I do remember it being a bit of a pain).

I think I either copied the P3D ATC folder/files to FSX-SE and then back to P3D, or reset the FSX-SE install location registry keys to point to P3D's install location.

One of those two I think.

Athough it worked fine I ended up just buying a license to avoid the hassle when I updated from P3D v3 to P3D v4.
