November 12, 20214 yr Author One thing is clear: the integration isn't perfect yet. 😉 But it's an awesome feature and I prefer it over MSFS ATC so...
November 12, 20214 yr NO. DONT LOAD FP in MSFS. Just load in EFB in FBW stable ver or dev only. AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, MSI RTX 5090, 64GB RAM 6000MHz DDR5, Tuf Gaming X870Plus, 1200W PSU English is not my first language.

November 12, 20214 yr Author Bummer... Did all you said but when I contacted ATC it told me to take off from runway 19R while I had 01L planned in Simbrief and the MCDU... So it sort of works but I need to alter my plan anyway in order to keep ATC and my plane in sync... Somehow this simply doesn't work as it should...

MSFS often gets the departing runway wrong no matter what you do. I just line up on the one I have planned and select 'request takeoff from tower' 9800X3D | 5080 | 32GB | 2TB NVME | Dell Ultrasharp U3415W 34" | 3440 x 1440 60Hz
November 12, 20214 yr Author Ah, okay, I thought that wouldn't work. 😉 I changed the runway on the MCDU but will try your tip the next time. I am curious to see if ATC will change my arrival now... EDIT A workaround might be to check the dep and arr in the MSFS planner and note the active runway and then change the runways in Simbrief accordingly if needed. I will try that the next tome too. EDIT 2 ATC told me to proceed to a waypoint that's not in my plan/MCDU... and it wants me to cruise at 8000 while that should be FL310... 🤒 Maybe it's time to look for an ATC addon. Currently there is no ability for the FMS to send the cruise altitude to ATC. Once you are in the air and have switched to departure, use the ATC menu to request altitude increases. You may have to make several requests as the maximum altitude increase that can be requested is 10,000 feet. You can make those requests one after the other, you don't have to wait until you've reached whatever ATC has told you. ...jim ASUS Prime Z790-E, Intel i9 13900K, 32Gb DDR5 Ram, Nvidia 3090 24Gb, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500 GB and 1 TB, Samsung Odyssey G9 Ultrawide 49" G-SYNC Monitor.
November 14, 20214 yr I just found out there's an option in the EFB Simulator Options to not load the MSFS flight plan. That lets you enter the weights etc from Simbrief. 9800X3D | 5080 | 32GB | 2TB NVME | Dell Ultrasharp U3415W 34" | 3440 x 1440 60Hz
November 14, 20214 yr Author Actually... I stopped using the Simbrief integration... When I do have the time it's much nicer to program the MCDU manually. I do use Simbrief to create a plan and make the OFP but after that I simply use that OFP to enter everything into the MCDU. Obviously I skip creating a plan in MSFS but I do create a basic A to B plan at first only to figure out what runways MSFS will be using (so ATC won't suggest different runways unexpectedly). After that I delete that basic plan and position myself at a gate and go on from there. Of course I contact ATC after programming the MCDU and file the plan from there. Great feature!
