November 15, 20214 yr Some of you may recall that there was a group (not sure who) that developed some beautiful replacements for the default jetways. The issue for me was that they were enclosure walls were glass vs. metal, which I understand is quite popular outside of the US. I recall making this statement about it somewhere and since forgot about it. However, today I find this (simultech jetways) and they have done exactly that. This is great and just purchased it. Very cheap and very well done. It is one of those things that is used almost always and is always very close to the jet. So not only do we have beautiful jets (model/livery) we now have a companion element too. I was just pleasantly surprised as I found this by accident. Note, I have nothing to do with this company, just a happy simmer. Now to get back to thinking on pulling the install trigger for AIG or wait for SU7 (decisions decisions...) November 15, 20214 yr I bought "Airport Jetway Pro" by LVFR. I think it's beautiful. /Yes, I a real geek. It was like $8 usd in the marketplace. https://latinvfr.com/collections/frontpage/products/airport-jetway-pro-for-msfs I like how you can see the Jetway operator in the Simultech version. But, I think the glass makes the airport look more modern. Tough choice. Hard to tell from the videos, but I think the Simultech might have a slight edge on textures and model quality. November 15, 20214 yr It would be cool if LVFR could do "regional" jetway models like they do with their ground service vehicles. Maybe they could include them in the already released ground services packages? Former Child, Current Adult

Maybe they could include them in the already released ground services packages? Curious, what is a regional jetway? I understood that these products replace the MSFS jetways. Are you talking about having jetways at regional airports that may not have them already (thus airport upgrades) or are you talking about a different type of jetway? For example, maybe have the glass jetways only in Europe/the Middle East and only have the windowless "traditional" ones in the US? Obviously not totally realistic but at least there would be more differentiation! Former Child, Current Adult
November 16, 20214 yr Commercial Member Replacements for default ground vehicles can be made by region, because that’s the way they work in the sim but, there’s only one jetway model used across all airports in the world so, you can only replace it globally, at most using some kind of external utility to switch it from some list before each session (on PC only, Xbox could’t do that), but you’ll still see only one jetwyay model at time worldwide.
