November 19, 20214 yr I guess it's time to give up any shred of hope for a functional save function. When I load a saved flight, the menu is still not accessible to change fuel, contact ATC, re-enable TrackIR since that's broken now, etc. Really dumb for a game in 2021 to have a non functional save/reload function. No excuse for this
November 19, 20214 yr I complained the first week the original MSFS was released. No joy yet. FSX did not have this issue. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

At this point I'd be willing to pay $10 for a third-party mod that allows actual saving and reloading, and also provides auto-save. I like starting my next flight where I left off and it's dumb having to write my remaining fuel down somewhere and type it into their sloppy interface, and also try to remember where I parked.
November 19, 20214 yr Sad to hear it's still not working properly. Back in FSX I'd build a huge GA flight plan with lots of waypoints and stops and fly it out over a week or two, taking as much or as little time I had each day. But that's not practical with MSFS and its borked save/restore, almost a deal breaker for me...this is a solid DANG IT (to say it politely, F word is what really comes to mind). I just start a new flight each time departing from the last place I landed. It's pretty dumb to have to do it but it's a workaround until they fix it (which is never). I was annoyed that you cant change the weather in a reloaded flight, but then I found a fix by editing the PLN file. BUT it's still useless because the in game menu for ATC, etc. absolutely refuses to work in a reloaded flight Edited November 19, 20214 yr by NightOfDreams

I sure hope they begin to address some of these long-standing "original" omissions in SU8 . I mean, didn't Asobo gauge "how" most simmers have previously used the sim before they began the design for the project? Regards, Kendall 7800X3D/G.B.
