My wife's a 'Cat Lady' too.  She has one that follows her around the house all day and jumps up on he lap when she's sitting down.  I guess she's the 'Cat Lady' because she feeds them.

But I have one cat that like to jump up on my computer desk and get her chin scratched.  Then she falls asleep with her head on my hand.   When I move my hand away she gets behind the monitor and goes to sleep.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Back in the good ol' days, my sister's Siamese cat loved to sleep on to of her portable color tv.  That was well and good until she woke up one time, did a big stretch and then barfed her brains out down into the back of the tv's vent holes!  Time for a new tv! 📺 😹

The video hit the nail on the head. Domestic cats will take on anything, no matter how big.

When I was a lad we got our first cat, an amazing siamese seal point cross. I came home from the swimming pool one day to find him sitting on the chair feeling sorry for himself. He had a big cut down his face. Aparently he was in the garden with my parents and he spied a huge ginger cat in next doors garden. You guessed it, he dived over there and attempted to take it on. I mean it was four times his size.

Me and Cheetah used to spend many hours sitting on top of the garden shed together. He was my friend. And thus, my love for cats was born.

Even when he was old with kidney trouble he was a feline martial arts master. One day a big black cat jumped over the neighbours 6 foot fence and dropped into our garden the poor cat thought Cheetah was easy game. Boy was he wrong. No cat yowling, straight in for the attack. At first Cheetah was underneath and there was me worried for him being 13 with kidney issues. Well I needn't have worried, suddenly he flipped the pesky intruder over and with great rapidity vanquished the foolish feline. The intruder made a run for it and so Cheetah sprayed his scent on a Bush and then calmly walked down the garden like nothing had happened.

We had no cat flap, so he slept on, and in, bed with us and went out during the day. He would often sleep inside the covers with his head on the pillow next to me. And yes, his fishy breath wasn't always pleasent.

Guess I was about 15, now 63, and I remember him fondly. Still have his photo.

Oh yes. My cat decided to eat string when he was a kitten. Had no idea. He used to climb on top of the kitchen cupboards at night.

Next morning... I found cat puke mixed with string that had landed in the toaster slots.

New toaster. 😼

Our cats are pretty gentle.  They tolerate the neighborhood strays to feed in the back yard bowls we put out for them.  Maybe they think that because they eat on the porch and we put food outside for the strays they have a pass to get in the back yard.

But there is one neighborhood cat our black cat doesn't like at all.  All our cat has to do is yowl and that cat runs away.

They love to sit on our couch.  In fact they have ruined it.  Each of the back sections has a big dip in it where the cats like to sit.

In the evening while we are watching TV all four of them are in the living room with us sleeping on the floor or one of the empty chairs or on the couch.
