Exactly this. It is so smooth. Very nice indeed.

Pity about the GPS buy hopefully a fix for that comes down the track.

Hehe...maybe its a covert effort by PMDG to get us "children of the magenta line" weened off GPS and back to VOR to VOR flying, or other "old school" methods of navigation? 🙂

My last flight I just mentioned was short enough and visual all the way that I clearly saw the landmarks I needed to see to orient myself....one great thing about MSFS...you can actually pull out a vfr map, and follow it to a tee!  Didn't even notice the GPS was inop until it was mentioned here. 🤣

Yes Steve probably time I dusted off those VOR to VOR skills. The magenta line tends to make me lazy.

You and me both!  I tried doing the MCCARRAN 6 SID outta KLAS the other morning using the VOR headings only.....boy you forget about the TO/FROM flag and the disorientation sets in quick when you're SURE the needle should be moving in the opposite direction you're POSTIVE it should be travelling. 🤣  When I was convinced it was a malfunction with the equipment, I switched to GPS....and did an real palm to the face when I realized what I did and vowed 2 things: 1. trust your instruments, 2. fly MORE with VOR! LOL
