Salmon and Snake

Departing from Nez Perce Munincpal (0S5), the first leg takes us to Kamiah Municipal (S73) on the Clearwater River.  The route continues for a total of 212 miles taking in many short strips in the rugged country of the Salmon and Snake Rivers.   The route finishes at Joseph State (KJSY).  We will attempt landings at the following airstrips:

  •          S73      Kamiah Mun
  •          79ID     Clear Creek Int
  •          37ID     Hungry Ridge Ranch
  •          0ID8     Pinnacle
  •          1S7      Slate Creek
  •          95ID     Deer Creek
  •          D69      Rogersburg
  •          OR62   Cache Creek
  •          ID50     Wapshilla
  •          SAL      Salmon Bar
  •          KGRL   Grangeville Airport
  •          PIT       Pittsburg Airstrip
  •          ID42     Big Bar
  •          25U      Memaloose
  •          ID17     Seven Devils
  •          OR12   Oxbow
  •          KJSY    Joseph State

Aircraft

A few of the airstrips are shortish so you will need and aircraft capable of STOL operations.  The PC-6 is a possibility but I am going with the Savage Grravel - 2018 Raffle Plane.
