MOUSE and Problems after Update 7

Featured Replies

I did a complete re-install of MSFS and now my mouse won't move around the screen pressing the right mouse button like it use to. Does anyone have any idea what command I need to bind to the right  mouse button. Thanks!

Try resetting the mouse profile in the control options.

Thanks for the idea but didn't work. I have 2 profiles, default and one I created, did both but still can't view around cockpit. I haven't tried external mode.

I think you're trying to use it the same way I am. Right click & hold to move the view around.

In mouse options under 'Cockpit Camera', assign right mouse button to 'Toggle Cockpit View Freelook (HOLD)'

EDIT: If it is already assigned like that - just clear it out, apply & save, and then re-assign it, save & apply. I've had a few occasions where something was already assigned correctly but not working, and doing that little dance fixed it.

One annoyance that appeared for me w/ SU7 was middle-mouse button press now resets the cockpit or external view, and there is no way to stop it.  I have that function set to a button on my yoke, but again if I hit the middle mouse button it resets the cockpit or external view.  This means if I use one of my user-programmed (ctrl-alt-#) views I am unable to zoom or change views by panning any more because the middle mouse button always resets the view.  Unbelievable set of problems seemingly unrelated in SU7, even down to misaligned click spots.  It is pretty bizarre.
