December 1, 20214 yr Hello. Still having those terrible clear skies with a far haze in my flights. Today, flying over moscu. METAR tells: snow and overcast. But microsoft inject clear skies. i suppose they might be working to fix that. its urgente.
December 1, 20214 yr Are you flying at approximately the same time every day? I am now getting live weather since yesterday, but I'm taking my flights earlier. I was previously flying after 11pm GMT each day and never had live weather. If I wasn't about to call it a night, I'd put the PC back on to see if there is still live weather right now -- because I'm starting to wonder if they're turning the live weather servers off at around 11pm GMT to carry out investigation, tweaks, and/or maintenance. I noticed a GA airplane taxiing across to a runway. I kept circling and watching as it approached the runway, where it stopped at the correct place. Then ATC acknowledged it and gave it clearance to depart from that runway. It then started moving again, onto the runway, lined up, and then took off. The first time I've seen an AI airplane do that.

Semi-transparent ugly puffs, no variety whatsoever looks like the same cloud puffs different sizes and in random places. Can't even seem to get a full overcast anymore without some holes here and there. Also while finally getting inside of a cloud (very rare now) the lighting sucks, the sun still keeps the cockpit as bright as if you were outside of the cloud. Really, just bad. Hopefully some day they will have this big update they keep talking about that will "blow us away"! In the meantime, I hope they can roll back clouds and cockpit lighting to the original release (before any updates) because those were the BEST! Or.. maybe give us the option to keep the mess now or for PC users allow us to roll back to SU0? Edited December 2, 20214 yr by KERNEL32
December 2, 20214 yr I am getting both accurate and inaccurate representation of published weather (metar data), along with occasional to frequent haze, and the time of day has not mattered. All of my flights are from 1500Z to 2200Z and I am getting the incorrect weather at one time or another throughout that window of time. As always, let me state my region is usually in the eastern half of the USA. I do wish everyone posting about weather would reference their time and regions when doing so. December 2, 20214 yr It's offline now--they're probably working on a background update as they said they might be doing. I flew w/ LW earler today but just 30min ago was going to do a 2nd flight and discovered RW was offline. All highly predicted I would say right about now. Rather than rolling back to initial release to trade in better for very possibly much better in many ways, I support patience so Asobo can move towards perfection w/in performance constraints which are very real, while they are still developing the sim.
