Product Manager updated to V1.03

We've just updated the Product Manager again.

V1.03 corrects an issue where if the user had a space after their name in App Data, it would trip up the Product Manager.

To update, simply re-launch the Product Manager.

I think we've pretty well got all the kinks out out now.

But should you experience any issues, please feel free to contact us or post here.

Does the Product manager download the latest public betas or is that no longer a thing ?

We're no longer calling them public betas.

We're just incrementing the version # each time we release an update.

However, all we will be doing is releasing micro updates for each product.

For example, if we need to fix or change something, we can release that as a micro update.

The Product Manager will automatically detect that and install it.

This is a much better system than before.

It allows us to deliver updates to users very quickly on the fly.

So everything is VR compatible now ?  I have pushback express and am just about to get A32NX.  Pushback express has it's own timer for jetway, baggage, etc.  Are the timers synchronized between the products or are they independently run ?

Purchased!   The issue I have, though, is that I can't see the A32NX panel in VR mode using the latest download via the product manager. However, I can see the VR panel when using an older public beta that I downloaded after purchasing pushback express. I will re-download via the product manager and try again tomorrow.  Also, when visible, the VR panel disables all joystick input while on the ground.

To obtain the VR panel for FBW A32NX, it's the same as Pushback Express.

Open the FS2Crew Command Center in the MSFS tool bar.

From the drop down list, select the FBW A32NX version.

Click Launch.

After it loads, click Open Panel in the Command Center.

Note:  We can't auto resize the panel due to a current tech limit, so you'll need to manually enlarge it.  Just drag the lower right hand corner to enlarge.

About the joystick panel:  We've never heard of that one before.  I don't think it's us.

Cheers,

Ok thanks. Will retry tomorrow after updating.

Updated and everything good today 😊

Yes, Product Manager seems to be operating perfectly.

However, we found that users who are running "Preview / Insider beta builds" of Windows 11 have a network issue for some reason.

So if anyone has an issue, we suggest not using the "Preview/Insider" view of Windows 11.

Stick to the regular version of Windows 11.

Please delete the main FS2Crew FBW an PBE exe files located in their respective folders.

Then re-install FBW and PBE via the Product Manager.

Hi Byork,

The product manager 1.0.3 is behaving strange today, it's repeatedly telling me "No internet, check your connection" and then "Success, back online"..... this is switching back and forth constantly. Still managed to get both my products updated fine as long as you are fast enough clicking on the update button while it's not blacked out.

Cheers,
Markus

Maybe your internet connecting was cutting in and out?

A wish list is that the product manager has a option for running in background for win bootup and only appear when there is a update for download.
