On Discord, Alex says they temporarily suspended new sales (on SWS website) in order to slow the server demand and allow a bit a catch-up.

Just so everyone knows. Alex did get back to me and got me set up. If anyone is thinking about getting this plane just do it. This is by far the best addition to MSFS yet. SWS has raised the bar with this one.
