MSFS | Expert Series 2: The Piper M600 by FSReborn
That being said, and I totally agree with you, there were times when I did buy planes based on the review, opinion of highly regarded, trusted youtube pilots only to be disappointed. I also get that my personal opinion might be different than someone else's and that's fine too. And a lot of planes I do buy are not offered in the market place therefore there is no option to rent it(not in this case of course), and yes, time constraints for the rental for me is an issue.

MSFS | Expert Series 2: The Piper M600 by FSReborn
THANKS for the honesty! I'm SO tired of buying planes because I believe "unbiased" reviews from fellow simmers or youtubers telling me these planes are the best things since sliced bread.

Citation Sovereign+ Video Walkthrough
Anyone try it in VR? Absolutely every other plane I own lets me focus or zoom in while in VR, except for this one. I'm also having trouble removing the rear chocks while doing the preflight from outside, while in VR (to be fair I also have this issue on some of my other planes). I really rely on the focus, zoom feature in VR, so much so that I have a hotkey on my yoke so I can read the gauges and switches better. At least I also own the Phenom and the FlysimWare Lear that I can fly while waiting for an update (hopefully). So. Anyone who uses VR and focus, zoom is something you use be aware this plane doesn't offer it yet.

Kodiak 100 (MS2024)...Is it over?
At this time I'd get the Caravan. The Kodiak is a more modern, sexier plane but the Black Square Caravan nailed it. Although you can check the oil and the plane does get dirty, the plane doesn't save these things, as far as I know, so you basically start with a new plane every time you get in it. The Black Square comes with an awesome efb tablet thingy where you can maintain the plane and see your actual wear and tear as well as load the plane and repair it, the Kodiak uses the stock msfs tablet. I want to give SWS a chance so I just took the wheeled version for a flight, it is much better than the amphibian, I'm glad I got it at the discount price(I had the 2020 version). Another feature the Caravan has is the ability to plug in headphones with the headphone jack( I like to listen to music while I fly. I still prefer the Caravan but I am glad I have the prettier, more modern Kodiak, it is done very well and the detail is as good or better than the Caravan(if you're a rivet counter).....

Kodiak 100 (MS2024)...Is it over?
Well. Same old problems on this 2024 version as the 2020 version amphibian plane. Casters aren't animated so when you turn the aircraft on the ground the front wheels stay straight as you turn, the water rudders are animated backwards so when the rudders are indicating up in the cockpit they are down in the exterior view, they actually work as per the cockpit indication though. I'm REALLY surprised this made it past the SWS developers but.... Ground handling still sucks with the amphibian, haven't even tried the wheel version yet, I just loaded my Black Square Caravan and continued. At least there are a WHOLE bunch of different configurations if thats your thing. Really disappointed in the Kodiak so far, I was hoping.....

MSFS 2024: PMDG 737-900 Available
What I’d really like to see is a 737-200!!!

MSFS 2024: PMDG 737-900 Available
I have to agree. PMDG isn't the only developer anymore offering planes at this level. And, I think $49.00 is too much, for me anyway. Over the years I'm into PMDG for hundreds and hundreds of dollars, time to ween myself off of them....

I can’t wait for the Black Square Caravan Professional
BUY the starship! It is their BEST most unique aircraft in their hanger. I own all of Just Flight planes and it is my go to, I love flying that thing.

FSS 727-100 Released
In short, no. There is only an option to have the flight engineer do his, her stuff, there is no co-pilot option, you have to do that part by yourself.

FSS 727-100 Released
I'll try to help, its been 2 weeks since I've flown it. Yes there is an option to let the flight engineer to do all the flight engineer check lists, start the apu, he basically does all the work that's on that back panel. You as the pilot still have to start the engines, work the lighting, work the anti ice stuff and navigate. It really is very well thought out. I usually like doing all the work myself too but I use this option on this plane because its just too complicated for one person to handle. The way you control the first officer is through a cell phone like device, you can let him do everything by enabling each stage of the checklist (pre flight, before taxi, take off, after take off, etc), or you can do the the stages you want to by yourself. I was really pleasantly surprised with this plane as it had a bit of a rough start in MSFS 2020 when it first came out (according to many of the original reviews). I for one am glad I got it.

TFDI MD-11 updated
Will this one work in VR?
-
FSS 727-100 Released
Anyone else having these issues? Switches stop working after a while, become un-clickable, Opening the large cargo door causes the plane to crash while sitting on the tarmac, zoom in VR is WAY too zoomy sometimes putting the view right outside the plane.

FSS 727-100 Released
This is almost as much money as a PMDG product. I'm really on the fence with this one, I love the 727. After reading the somewhat mediocre reviews of FSS 727 for 2020 is this plane any better this time around? $100 bucks Canadian is a lot for any plane, I just want to make sure its worth it, I've been let down before.
- Does the TFDi Design MD-11 Currently Work at all in 2024?

FSReborn Phenom 300 recent images
WOW! That looks amazing. I can't wait for this plane!!

A2A Aerostar 600
You can NEVER go wrong with any A2A product, 50 bucks is a pretty good buy if you ask me. The aerostar is kinda weird looking but A2A modeled it really well. Again. Anything A2A is top notch.....

Maddog MD82 on sale at Simmarket 25%
There are 2 major issues for me. The first one is I can’t manipulate the switches with the mouse, it seems the further the switches are from me the harder it is to grasp that switch I’m looking for, I can’t focus on the switch, I end up having to move my mouse over two, sometimes three switches to the right to work the switch I’m looking for (and yes, while closing my right eye). If I’m looking at a switch straight on in front of me it seems to work pretty good. The second is there is no way to focus (or zoom in) on hard to see parts of the cockpit. On absolutely every plane I own ( even freeware planes) I can zoom in on a gauge or switch that is hard to see. I have a key on my yoke that I have bound to “VR focus” or I use the right mouse button to zoom in on far away gauges to see them better. For some reason you are not able to do this in this plane. I did reach out to the developer when this plane first came out (it was a first day buy for me)and they replied that it wasn’t optimized for VR. Oh well. I would love for this plane to work for me in VR, I had it in P3D and it worked great in VR. I would gladly recommend and change my views on is plane if VR worked with it. (sorry this was so long)

Maddog MD82 on sale at Simmarket 25%
If they can ever get it to work in VR I'll revisit this plane. It's been useless to me since it came out, I've had freeware planes that worked better in VR than this thing....
