SP1

Havn't heard anything further about whether SP1 will be available on CD. Are we mortals with DialUp consigned to a Five Hour download? No Flame: Just wondering. SPOFF

No, it won't. I've never heard of a service pack shipping on disks.:-roll

Actually I belive you can order the XP service packs on CD. Or you could ask your friend to burn it or put it on a flash drive for you. I wouldn't expect the pack to be very big, though, since it isn't a content upgrade, just a set of fixes and performance improvements.

Otherwise, I expect PC Pilot mag will put it on their cover CD. They've put most everything else to do with FSX on it.Mike.

I think other mags may well carry the package on cover CDs. Only problem is you will have to wait until they are published but you do get a read while SP1 is installing.Try a good download manager and start downloading before retiring for the night. Patience is a requirement for those in your predicament.;)

Rig: Gigabyte B550 AORUS Master Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT CPU, 32GB DDR4 Ram, Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Graphics,  Samsung Odyssey  wide view display (5120 x 1440 pixels) with VSYNC on.

As others have mentioned, it will almost certainly be on PC Pilots cover CD, but you might have to wait a little longer for it that way.Do you have any friends with broadband who could download and burn it to CD for you? if you are really stuck I could send it to you on a CD once its released.
