Wild animals have no place inside and enclosure.  They belong at home in their natural habitat.

As a one time wildlife and bird photographer I have taken pictures of zoo animals and animals in the wild.  Zoo animals appear to me to be unhappy.  They need places to run and they need prey to chase.  And lions need a pride of their relatives to be happy with.

I'm for phasing out zoos as these animals reach the end of their natural lives.

This is why I like Kevin Richards approach. He takes in big cats and hyenas that cant be reintroduced to the wild, keeps them in an enormous enclosure and in packs as they were meant to be. The relationship he has with these animals and the love they have for him is wonderful.
