Cockpit Camera/Panning Around

Featured Replies

I use to be able to hold either the right or left mouse button down (I can’t remember which one) and move around the cockpit view. Something has changed, not sure what but anyway I’m not able to move about the cockpit anymore. Anyone have any idea what I’ve done or how to get back. Thanks

Have a look at your mouse button assignments in controllers settings.

I've checked them all, everything seems to be where it should be.

Maybe you need to reset the mouse assignments to default: SU7 changed something and a lot of people needed to reset the mouse controls in order to be able to move the map in the flight planner even though assignments seemed okay. Resetting might help for this too.

I changed the mouse controller settings to default in hopes of this fixing the problem but it didn't. Still can't pan around in cockpit view.

search for 'toggle cockpit freelook' under mouse controller settings and see what you get.. if you get nothing, assign either mouse mid-click or right-click to it.. then you will get the functionality back..

do the same for 'external freelook' if you lost panning around in external view as well..

For the mouse, have you tried holding down the space bar?

For the joystick, have you tried this?  (the customization will make the POV behave like it did in previous iterations of MSFS):
