TileProxy issues

It seems to work off and on. I could not get it to work at all during the day yesterday (maybe usage is heavier during the work day?)-but by night I was enjoying myself greatly.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg

I suspect, and I think I am not alone on this one, that GE will find a way to shut this tile supply down before we overuse their bandwidth with tens of thousands of simmers using it every day....allen

This is what Edmonton Alberta Canada looks like using VE. Using GE the images are very crisp and clear. It fails to load a number of tiles in VE.Not sure about you guys but although this shows potential( my hats off to the developer) I am just pulling hairs just waiting for the sim to load.Paulhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/171206.jpg

but when working it is heaven....Here is cinder cone-a volcano on the base of Mt. Lassen National Park that erupted in 1914-notice the lava flow. I have flown over it in real life-the only difference were there were two people walking up the trail that is seen in this scenery! :-)http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/171208.jpg

Yeah that looks nice. I just dont know if I have the patience for this trial and error , it works it does not work thing :)Paul

Am I the only one with Ge and it not loading??? When I use VE it seems fine but the images dont seem to be as good as GE. I had it working yesterday.Paul

something to do with the place where you are as well. I call from a remote small town in Wyoming and I never had a wait or a rejection or a partial d/l from Boodle.

I think we can cut that down to a few hundred FS users.

You know, we should really start a thread where we post a screenshot, latitude and longitude and the service we used to get this image. This way, everyone can fly these wonderful locations.

Also places that look incredible. So far for me-Yosemite, San Diego/Los Angeles, Pittsburg, Chester Rogers (Mt. Lassen National Park),Detroit area are some of my favorites.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg
