Warthog throttle in the G-91 and F-104 not working here

Featured Replies

Cannot push the virtual lever beyond the idle point anymore after the fix and cannot get the engine to deliver the necessary power,it stays at idle power

Pushing the physical throttle  forward makes the 104 roll backward.  The Gina which has no reverser ,stays put.

This is without programming the reverse thrust for the lift gate  and it does that with or without reversing the throttle axis.

By comparison, the MV Porter throttle works like a charm now including the reverse thrust by lifting the physical lever down the gate .

Do you see the same on your jets ?

If i recall i had to change the throttle settings for the WartHogg from Throttle Axis to Throttle 1 Axis as i had the same issues on purchase.

Coincidentally my Warthog throttle is not working anymore on my Piaggio 149 --- something fishy once again. Actively trying to figure out what has been changed along the slow hotfix.

Soz can't help with regards to your jets although I suspect our issues are related. Haven't tried other birds yet.

Thank you very much, Carl, that was it. They changed the axis assignment. Yesterday both were working on the throttle axis, today they work only on the throttle 1 axis. The funny part is that before you can  bind your throttle to the T1, you get a red message saying that it is not recommended... What a mess this sim can be 🤦‍♂️ !

I had this on the Piaggio as well.  It is the same solution in this thread.  Bind it to 'throttle 1' for now.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Hmmm... It did the trick but I had only checked if throttle was now moving.

I actually flew the FBW 320 as well as the Piaggio 149 last night (after binding my Warthog throttle to Throttle 1 Axis) and although it works I discovered that I somehow "lost" a fair amount of actual / physical range on my Thrustmaster throttle.

It feels and looks as if a deadzone had been added at Idle and Max throttle. In other words, I need to push my physical throttle quite a fair amount off Idle before it registers in sim and, similarly, I need to pull my physical throttle back a fair amount before it reduces power in sim. Flyable, but birds are now terribly finicky...

I checked in control settings and sensitivity, no deadzone is set, and my Warthog throttle works as intended in DCS.

This one baffles me a bit. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have the same with the Just Flight Hawk. Moving my throttle has no effect but binding it to Throttle 1 doesn't work. I've given up flying it for now.

My WH throttle works ok on axis throttle 1 with all parameters set to 0 except reactivity at 100

You need to delete the original binding to Throttle as well, and make sure Assistance options haven't all been set on too.
