FS2Crew Weekend Update for 8 January 2022!

Full change log here:

https://fs2crew.com/fs2crew-change_logs/

To obtain the three updates released this weekend, use the FS2Crew Product Manager:

https://fs2crew.com/downloads/

Highlights:

1. Pushback Express:   'Distance Pushback Mode' has been updated again.  The major breakthrough is you no longer need to manually enter an aircraft offset.

This is pretty big!

All you need to do is place the pin on the taxiway line, twist the pin to match the taxiway line heading, and boom!, you should be pushed back to that location.

This is the functionality everyone wanted, and we delivered it!

2. RAAS for MSFS:  Big change in today's software update is we boosted the base RAAS sound file volumes.  They were a bit low by default.

We're still putting the final touches on our tool that will allow RAAS to work with "encrypted" airports.  We hope to have that out any day now.

As you know, some payware 'marketplace' airports are encrypted, meaning we can't read data out of them (like runway coordinates).  Our new tool will deal with this issue.

3. FBW A32NX Version:  The update today was pretty small.  Just a small fix with the checklist panel.

Other notes:

1. We are encouraging our users to join our Discord channel.  I know some people don't like Discord, but our Discord channel is way more active than these forums:

What's coming up next?

1. After the RAAS "encrypted airports" tool is released, we'll be putting out a final update for UGCX.

2. Then we bang out the CRJ - finally!

Busy weekend in FS2Crew Land!

Thanks much Bryan! 🙂

Hello Bryan,
I would like to express my thanks to you for your great support for us Simmers!
I don't know any better support for the Flusiscene!
Hats off...
Happy greetings
Werner

Bryan are you working on an fs2crew version for the NG3 in MSFS ?

I wonder if they can do the coding before it releases and then 'plug it into' the NG3 when it releases, but even if there's no work on it yet, Bryan has said future MSFS products shouldn't take long as the base is already done from the 32nx product

Yeah he did mention that a long time ago. Hopefully it’s not too far off Fs2crew for the NGu was amazing and he’s going to make a killing off of that product as he should.

We're definitely supporting the new PMDG for MSFS.

But a lot depends on what happens with their SDK.

PMDGs or Asobos SDK?

Are you in contact with PMDG?

We're going to need a PMDG SDK.

Same as FSX/P3D.

Rob doesn't want people interfacing with his aircraft without using an SDK for legal/liability reasons.
