Yes, well, you could also do that on a forum with neat topics containing information only about that specific topic (well, that's the idea anyway). Discord is an utter mess. The point is: why do those producers prefer a messy place like Discord (which is in fact a forum with only ONE gigantic topic) over a good old forum...? As I said elsewhere a few minutes ago: imagine this Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) forum being one topic with (currently) 322,137 posts in it... would you like that? I don't think so. Carenado doesn't have a forum except the one on Avsim.. Or am I missing something? The one I am reading right now is the general-chat and it's extremely easy to get lost and miss things. Besides, it's giving me a headache trying to follow a certain discussion about a certain topic.... But well, it's a matter of preference, I suppose: I simply wish they'd stick with forums. 😉
