Honda Jet

Featured Replies

I just wanted to bring to the groups attention the great Honda Jet for FSX by Mitsuya Hamaguchi. It is available on another one of our hobbies great sites. This little baby has become one of my favorite aircraft to fly. Small on the outside and big on the inside. ;) It can get in and out of some pretty tight spots and yet carry 6 plus the crew in luxury for an aircraft this size. All this and it's fun to fly with its all glass cockpit. The 'real' home of this aircraft is at http://world.honda.com/HondaJet/.Check it out. It is super cool. :)Gary

Thats nice. A link to the add-on would be even nicer.

Is this a FSX plane?

It is super cool. :)What a cool plane. On a side note, Japan is already leading the car industry with europeans and americans struggling to follow. I wonder if they will gain supremacy in the (small) aircrafts industry as well in the following decade! :)Marco

Can I just say for the record that it has always vexed me why all airplane manufacturers do not produce freely distributable FSX versions of their aircraft! What better way to market your airplane than to release a flyable simulation of it? (Side benefit: Quality Control.)These are huge companies, mostly ... and they surely have the marketing budget to pay the top-flight aircraft designers to produce FSX simulations.Any airplane company marketing type guys who might be reading this site care to explain this?

You'd think!I believe there was some integration between Cessna and MS for FS, I'm pretty sure Cirrus Designs worked with Eaglesoft for their version, and ATR worked with Flight1 for their version.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180

YesGary:) Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion, for every opinion now accepted was once eccentric. - Bertrand Russell

How many in this forum are prospects of aircraft manufacturers? LoL. Your idea sound like American Army game. I really want to the number of people actually joined the army after played that game.

Wow, what a wonderful little plane! I just played it for a few minutes and I was not expecting all the detail involved; the passenger, the head movements, your copilot, chrome finishes, window reflections, and overall very well rendered little plane and fun to fly :)Another plus; it did not affect my FPS and it is FREE! It was actually a lot better than some of the payware :(

Actually, the market for these planes isn't that large. If you can convert 4 or 5 people to purchase one of these planes in the course of a year, you'll have easily made your money back and gained several million in revenue. One of the things that turns people off is complexity. If you can show potential customers what the systems are like, it's another compelling reason to purchase. I've been working with people in Airshares Elite, and several of them are very interested in getting an FS setup with the Eaglesoft Cirrus. The ability to practice procedures and understand the systems without having to actually pay for cockpit time is immense!Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180

Afraid when I click on this link I get:"Error: Missing FileServer SpecificationPlease notify system adminstrator"Thanks for the try. After a Google Search I did find the bird on the following link, but don't know if this is the offering in question relative to this post: http://www.fsdome.com/showpage.php?url=htt.../aircraft_1.htmUnder the main menu, click "aircraft". The last two selections are the Honda Jet for both FS9 and FSX.The file is "hondafsx.zip" for FSX. I will give it a try.RTH

Maybe somebody needs to write these people and explain it. They maybe slow and thick, but once they realize the potential (it is very hard, I know) they could jump on the bandwagon!Ever since I got the Luckla airport scenery, I have been wanting to to go Nepal (VNKT) and Lukla. I am going to do it.:)Manny
