Fps limiter not working

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, as the title says, I have v-sync on and fps capped at 30 and it's always worked fine. After the last update it hasn't been working anymore and i get 70 74 fps.I was in the beta stuff, leaved it,updated with no problem...

Am I the only one in this situation?

Cheers

Do you have a 144 Hz monitor? If that's the case, in the MSFS world 30 fps correspond to 72 and 20 fps to 48.

If you want to lock the framerate to different values, you have to do it with an external tool

Thanks for the quick answer, i have a 60 Hz monitor and everything was fine until the update. I didn't change anythin both in graphic settings nor in Nvidia control panel.

In this case VSync can't be on, otherwise the max framerate would be 60. Just double check the settings, it must be off somewhere.

But I don't know where. Nothig has been modified since...months.

Have you updated your gpu driver lately? I would also change the vsync option in game, save and restart then change it back and save to see if that makes it stick.

Nvidia drivers are still 472.12. Nothing changes in v-sync, whatever settings i set it's always unlimited. Maybe some addon?

That should do it.  As Fuzzy says, it has to be 'application' controlled.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
