A NEW REASON TO USE THE LATEST NVIDIA DRIVER SERIES

Featured Replies

How have you enabled this functionality?

By default GSP is not enabled in current driver 511

Thanks for sharing.

Hopefully this GSP capability will come to the consumer-based Desktop Nvidia GPU graphics cards in the not too distant future as well seeing as though Max-Q has arrived in some early gaming laptops already.

The Nvidia site currently lists 5 laptops with Max-Q on-board .. one RTX 3060, one RTX 2060 and 3 RTX 2080.

It's not relevant to anyone except maybe enterprise right now. Just another click-bait, all-caps thread that can be debunked with 5 seconds of Googling.

I have no interest in click baiting. I am not a techie, but I thought this was an interesting enough piece of information to call to the attention of our community. I am simply passing on news from Tom's Hardware, a recognized reputable source of news. I became aware of it in a simple scan of news which I get every morning. My understanding is that it works be default and there is nothing that can be done through NCP, at least not in what I am seeing in my NCP.

To each his own.

Interesting future possibility when it makes its way to their consumer line of GPU’s. I guess we will wait and see.
