FBW A320NX stuck on 'decompressing' when updating

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

For the last few days, every time I try updating the fbw the updater becomes stuck at decompressing.

I have done a fresh reinstall, deleted all folders ,and still same.

In the sim, the plane does load but the cdus are blank.

All help will be welcomed.

Hi all

I have managed to resolve the issue, I think.

In the community folder I deleted the ,  flybywire_current _install_783  folder and all the cdus  are working.

not sure why, but it works.

thanks to all for the suggestions.

I have a similar issue where it decompresses OK but then fails to "finish".  Upon inspection, I have 2 entries in Community folder and deleting the one with a "number" on the end usually requires me to uninstall the other and download a fresh copy which works. I have no idea what to do about this.  BR.
