What? Later this week? I had hoped for today ;)

every week we get closer to SP1. Its always later this week, then another week goes by and another, can we say june? Didnt the winxp sp1 come out alot quicker than this fsx game sp1?I think its funny it takes 8 months for a patch to fix bugs in a product microsoft sells on the shelf for 80 dollars takes this long...wow you sure do get your moneys worth from microsoft.... thanks phil

Let's just wait and see how the patch works. They are working as hard and as fast as they can. They know they screwed the pooch and they are trying to make it right by giving us a patch now so let's lay off of them. Only a few more days.________________________________________________________________________________________________Intel D975XBX2 'Bad Axe 2' | Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3.20Ghz | 2 GB Super Talent DDR2 800 | Big Typhoon VX | eVGA 8800GTS @ 565/900 | Seagate 2x320GB SATA RAID-0 | OCZ GameXStream 700W | Creative X-Fi | Silverstone TJ-09BW | Matrox Triplehead Setup

> Its always later this week, then another week goes by and>anotherSays who? Many have been watching and waiting for this including myself and I never, ever, ever, ever heard the words "next week" by anyone in authority or even remotely officially connected with the effort until last week. Ever.>Didnt the winxp sp1 come out alot quicker than this fsx game>sp1?Nope. Windows XP shipped on October 25 2001, with SP1 shipping almost a year later on Sept 9 2002.>I think its funny it takes 8 months for a patch to fix bugs in>a product microsoft sells on the shelf for 80 dollars takes>this long...Well that should tell you a LOT right there, young Skyhawk. Both the price and the sheer man-hours involved in coding effort serve to illustrate the unique complexity of flight simulation programing very well, as well as the focus and determination on getting SP1 out the door in as healthy, and TESTED, condition as possible. >wow you sure do get your moneys worth from microsoft....>thanks philI couldn't agree with you more, I am VERY happy with both the base program and it's potential, as well as the service in terms of public community engagement and this pending update. Looking forward to it!!
