Wireless Headset Advice

Featured Replies

I am looking for some advice on wireless headsets.  I have a 10+ year old Logitech G930 wireless headset.  The headset is actually great, comfortable and fits over my glasses well.  The problem is that the headset cuts in and out all of the time due to interference....this is a know issue with this headset.  I have tried the various suggestions online with limited success.

Question: Can anyone recommend a wireless headset that does not have any interference issues on the 2.4GHz frequency and is comfortable over glasses.  Must have an integrated mic.

thanks.

I am using the Logitech G733 Lightspeed.
Very comfortable to wear (also over glasses), Mic can be taken off which I like.

Never experienced any interference or disconnects.

Thanks, I will take a look at these.  I think mine is just a very old model and had these issues running on the same frequency as the modem.

I am also searching.  A few weeks ago I purchased and returned the Corsair Void RGB Wireless headset.  Was comfortable and fit nicely (also glasses).  But had cutout/interference issues with it.  So sent it back.

My Current headset is the arctis steel series 5.  I don't like the bass from it.  Seems weak.  But it is comfortable.  The other huge positive is that it has a feature called chat mix.  Basically the headset has two different usb sound cards built in.  So you can assign vatsim audio to 1 and your simulator to the other.  Then it comes with a circular dial.  in real time you can mix between them if somebody is speaking too loud or softly.  This is a great feature.  Another negative is that it is wired.

So like you I'm searching for a new one.  Will follow this thread.
